RESUMEN: En la actualidad la delincuencia ha aumentado y los delincuentes usan cada vez métodos más sofisticados para evadir la ley. En muchos de los homicidios ocasionados por quemaduras no se lleva a cabo la averiguación previa para determinar su causa debido a que los representantes de la ley dictaminan dicha causa del incendio que provocó las quemaduras con información que les proporciona personal que acudió al lugar de los hechos y en muchas ocasiones relacionan la causa de la muerte con sucesos tomados como accidentales. Por ello la labor del médico forense es aportar datos que permitan determinar objetivamente la causa de la muerte por ejemplo, si el sujeto estaba vivo antes de sufrir las quemaduras, dilucidar con base en los cambios histomorfologicos o bioquímicos encontrados, si falleció a causa de ellas o por intoxicación con monóxido de carbono. Por ello el objetivo de este estudio consistió en aportar dichos datos para determinar la causa de la muerte con mayor exactitud.
ABSTRACT: At present the delinquency to increased and the delinquents use every time more sophisticated methods to evade the law. In many of the homicides caused by burns the previous inquiry is not carried out to determine its cause because the representatives of the law consider this cause of the fire that caused the burns with information that provides personnel to them who went to the place of the facts and in many occasions they relate the cause of the death to events taken like accidental. For that reason the work of the forensic doctor is to contribute data that allow to objectively determine the cause of the death for example, if the subject were alive before undergoing the burns, to explain with base in the histomorfologicos or biochemical changes found, if it passed away because of them or by poisoning with carbon monoxide. For that reason the objective of this study consisted of contributing these data to determine the cause of the death with greater exactitude.
