Abstract

RESUMEN: Se conoce a la arquitectura como el arte de proyectar y construir espacios habitables para el ser humano, estos estarán desarrollados conforme a un lugar, tiempo y espacio. La estrecha relación entre la identidad y la arquitectura es más presente de lo que parece, debido a la historia que ambos comparten entre sí, la búsqueda constante de reflejar los cambios de una cultura y dar paso a nuevos tiempos lleva a pensar de qué manera se deben conservar Es así como los estilos arquitectónicos se hacen presentes en cada etapa de la vida cotidiana en un tiempo y lugar determinados, como lo es el caso del Art Déco, seduciendo al público con sus formas geométricas y su forma de construirse en pleno siglo XX, haciéndose presente en todo tipo de industria y en la arquitectura. La importancia de este estilo en la cultura mexicana carga consigo un valor incalculable, su conservación es esencial para mantener presente parte de la identidad mexicana que influyó en la construcción del Déco. El presente trabajo los invita a visualizar el transcurso del tiempo en la arquitectura Art Déco en México y como la identidad mexicana se ve reflejada de forma tangible e intangible. ABSTRACT: Architecture is known as the art of designing and building habitable spaces for human beings, these have been developed according to a place, time and space. The close relationship between identity and architecture is more present than it seems, due to the history that both share with each other, the constant search to reflect the changes of a culture and give way to new times leads us to think about how they must be conserved. This is how architectural styles are present in each stage of daily life in a given time and place, as it is the case of Art Déco, seducing the public with its geometric shapes and its way of being built in the 20th century, becoming present in all types of industry and architecture. The importance of this style in Mexican culture carries with it an incalculable value, its conservation is essential to maintain present part of the Mexican identity that influenced the construction of the Déco. This work invites you to visualize the passage of time in Art Deco architecture in Mexico and how the Mexican identity is reflected in a tangible and intangible way.
