Innovar para preservar: las brechas como oportunidades para hacer de Tepeapulco, Hidalgo un territorio turístico orientado a la conservación del patrimonio

Abstract

RESUMEN: Tepeapulco, Hidalgo es un municipio rico en patrimonio, tanto material como inmaterial y natural cuyo valor no ha sido aprovechado para el bienestar de sus habitantes en cuanto al turismo. Lo que ha conllevado a un deterioro de sus alicientes turísticos y una baja en la afluencia de turistas. El trabajo presenta un diagnóstico de la situación económica y social para él periodo de 2019-2021 que presenta el municipio de Tepeapulco. Se trabajó desde un marco institucional para valorar las brechas que existen entre los diferentes actores involucrados en el turismo. El estudio arrojó que los actores no están dispuestos a participar en conjunto para mejorar su oferta turística, sin embargo, existe un interés de los ciudadanos por preservar el patrimonio y la cultura; por lo que se generaron propuestas para preservar el patrimonio del municipio e incrementar la demanda de turistas. ABSTRACT: Tepeapulco, Hidalgo is a municipality with a rich heritage, both tangible and intangible and natural, whose value has neither been assessed nor used correctly in terms of tourism, which has led to a deterioration of its tourist attractions and a decrease in the influx of tourists. The work entailed a diagnosis of the situation for the period 2019-2021 presented by the municipality of Tepeapulco. We worked from an institutional framework to assess the gaps that exist between the different groups involved in tourism. The study showed that the groups have not cooperated in the set to improve their tourist offer, however, there is an interest of citizens to preserve heritage and culture; Therefore, proposals were generated to preserve the heritage of the municipality and to increase the demand for tourists.
